But, still, look: Here are five more.
Here, in fact, are five of our favorite videos of all time.

1. This first one's by comedy troupe Backpack Picnic, the legendary Austin-based quartet featured in this profile:

"Backpack Picnic" was a series of sketch videos we produced for OnNetworks.com in Austin TX between 2007 and 2009; "we" was myself, David Bewley, Jeremy Sweetlamb, Shannon McCormick, and René Pinnell. René had just directed "Meet The Bulldogs", an MTV sketch pilot I wrote in 2006, and decided to pitch the general concept to OnNetworks once MTV had passed on the series––their test audience of 16-yr-olds "didn't get it".

2. Also from Austin, here's that crew known as Old Murder House Theatre, who tour an intentionally goofy-ass live-action version of Robocop (among other classic homages) around the country and were covered in this article. But this video is, we suggest, an even better thing they're responsible for:

3. One of the things that some of that Murder House crew have in common is a stint at the Savannah College of Art and Design. This next piece was made by other SCAD students; it's a video that's freakish & unnerving & perfectly produced, leading us away from humor & into the macabre:

4. And now ... you want to talk about innovation in narrative presentation? Before you start talking, do yourself the favor of witnessing this creepy cautionary tale from Run Wrake:

A girl sees a rabbit running across a field. Thinking it would make an excellent muff, she pursues it with a knife. It escapes her, but her brother kills it. She slices it open, and out pops an animated idol that, when bothered by insects, turns them into feathers, bottles of ink, and jewels.

There are many different kinds of whisky in this world & they all originally come from Scotland or Ireland. That’s a statement of fact – a fact codified by the word whisky itself.

You go any farther than that, especially if you start comparing one type of whisky with another, and the subjective claws of opinion unsheathe themselves to scratch up who knows what form of contention.

Shouting? Impassioned gestures? Drunken fisticuffs?
Outright bloody murder with the business end of a well-polished shillelagh?

A person doesn’t have to enter that comparative framework, though, doesn’t have to let the barest whisper of a snikt break the civil silence – not even when writing this review of Opal Divine’s 13th Annual Whisky Festival in Austin, Texas.
